What I’ve Realized From Taking A Social Media Break

So It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything- no tweets, no ig posts, no podcast episodes- I haven’t even published any articles.

I know usually I post readings and card pull, and I plan on doing more. I just needed a break from everything. If you follow me and my podcasts, then you’ll know that I have five podcasts. I love podcasting, it’s probably my favorite hobby, but the reason I stopped is that I realized it was wasting my time.

I do not think that hobbies are a waste of time. I just understand that these are times that I need to hustle more.

Let’s be real…

Everything costs money. Everyone needs money. I wasn’t overwhelmed by uploading several episodes a week. I loved doing it, I love when people told me they love my episodes and communicate with me on Twitter. But there was no actual “gain” from it.

If you choose Anchor then you’ll know that it’s tough to actually earn money on it. Unless you have sponsors set up ahead of time, then it’s really tough. Now that things have further changed, I doubt I’ll be coming back soon. Spotify and Anchor have set things up to where you must have 100 listeners/followers on Spotify.
