I sometimes still think about those times

Back in 2016 when I felt lost and things were different.

Everything was different, and so were we.

I remember being in my own apartment, with my own space.

I didn’t value what I had, it was precious and quiet

If I only knew then, what I know now, I wouldn’t be here.

Sometimes I don’t want to be, sometimes I want to scream.

Almost everyday, I’d rather bleed.

You’ll never know,

because I won’t ever show

Until I explode.

Then you’ll know,

You’ll see what I need.
